IMS is providing the turn-key design of two transfer pump stations, each capable of pumping 160 mgd for a combined capacity of 320 mgd. The project includes the design of 18 different buildings/facilities.
IMS was contracted by the N.O. Sewerage and Water Board to provide design
engineering, construction engineering services for two pump stations in New
Orleans. The services provided include: preparation of a Preliminary Design Report, final design of the 1650 gpm and 1100 gpm pump stations and all appurtenances, buildings to house the pump stations, civil grading plans, structural, mechanical and electrical plans and details, detailed specifications and contract documents.
IMS was responsible for preparation of the SRF Facilities Plan, complete design and providing construction engineering support for rehabilitating a sanitary sewer network in Greenville. Trench-less technology – Pipe Bursting was used to replace sewer network of over a mile in length resulting in savings to the City of over 60% of the City’s original estimated construction cost.
IMS is responsible for the design of one of the largest single design contracts awarded by the Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans. This project consists of a 4,850 linear foot long, 14 foot high, concrete T Wall for the protection of the East Bank Wastewater Treatment Plant.
